2020 INFINITI QX80 - Distance Control Assist (DCA) (if so equipped)

"This video is copyrighted material of Nissan North America, Inc. and should not be copied, edited, or reproduced without the permission of Nissan.

The Distance Control Assist (DCA) system is designed to assist the driver to keep a following distance from the vehicle ahead traveling in the same lane and direction.

The DCA system brakes and moves the accelerator pedal upward according to the distance from, and the relative speed, of the vehicle ahead.

With the Distance Control Assist enabled on the lower touchscreen display, the DCA system turns on when the dynamic driver assistance switch on the steering wheel is pushed. When activated, the DCA system switch indicator will appear in the vehicle information display. Push the dynamic driver assistance switch again to turn the DCA system off. The DCA system indicator will turn off.

Please be aware that the DCA system does not operate when the conventional cruise control mode is operating. Also, a vehicle that is entering the lane ahead, may not be detected until the vehicle has completely moved into the lane. If this occurs, the system may warn you by sounding a chime and the system indicator will blink.

The DCA can be turned on or off in the center display. To toggle the DCA on or off:
● Press the MENU button
● Touch the DRIVER ASSISTANCE key.
● Then, touch the FORWARD ASSIST key.
● Now, touch the DISTANCE CONTROL ASSIST key to toggle the system ON or OFF.

Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operating and feature information."
