Renault displayed its Kwid EV (K-ZE) at the Auto Expo

Mahindra launched its eKUV100 at Rs 8.25 lakh (for commercial use) at the Auto Expo 2020. The eKUV100 offers a claimed range of 150km and is the most affordable EV on sale in India (barring the e2O, that is). The Tata Altroz EV was officially unveiled at the show, and features mildly revised styling over the regular Altroz. We expect the Altroz to share its powertrain with the Nexon EV and offer a range of 300km as well, with a price tag of between Rs 12 - 14 lakh. The Renault K-ZE (Kwid Electric) also made its India debut at the Auto Expo, and it offers a claimed range of 270km and a 0-80% charge time of just 30 minutes. In addition to these, other significant EVs that made an appearance at the Auto Expo are the Great Wall Motors R1 (range: 300-350km) which is likely to be priced at between Rs 7-10 lakh, the Bird EV1 and also the MG E200.
