Calistoga's Hot Springs - Weekend Delight

Hot springs put Calistoga on the map. This area along Route 29 has been promoted as a spa resort since the 1860s. The Native Americans called its hot springs, agua calientes, and often used them for their curative powers. Today, several resorts still tap into the abundance of mineral and mud springs. Add in balloon trips, wineries, and hikes in the surroudnign hilss and you have an unbeatable weekend.
