Volkswagen has showcased its India 2.0 SUV, the Taigun
It’s based on a platform called the MQB-A0-IN, which has been built for the Indian market.
There is only one turbo-petrol engine on offer which makes 115PS/200Nm.
It will be launched in India sometime in 2021.

Skoda Volkswagen Auto India Group has shown a host of new vehicles ahead of the Auto Expo 2020, and the highlight is the Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV. It’s part of their India 2.0 plan that seeks to cement the German car conglomerate’s position in India. When it does get launched in India, the SUV will rival popular SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Taigun is expected to come powered by a 1.0L TSI petrol engine at launch in 2021.
